The Rev. William J. Young Social Justice Insitute & Office of Catholic Outreach invite you to Annual Rev. William J. Young Social Justice Lecture at 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 16. This year's lecture is presented by Fr. Martino Nguyen Ba-Thong. His topic is “Out of Slavery into Promised Land” – The stories of children sold/forced into sex slavery in Cambodia, Lao and Singapore. Archbishop Joseph Fiorenza will give the opening remarks.
Fr. Martino Nguyen Ba-Thong will speak about his work with One Body One Village on Human Trafficking in Southeast Asia and the United States. Event will feature workshops with anti-trafficking organizations from the community and campus. Father Martino will also have an evening mass in Vietnamese.
