The Knights are composers, arrangers, singer-songwriters and improvisers evolved from late night chamber music reading parties with friends at the home of violinist Colin Jacobsen and cellist Eric Jacobsen. Joined for this concert by Chinese pipa virtuoso, Wu Man, the group performs a fascinating program including Lou Harrison's "Concerto for Pipa and Orchestra," works by French masters Debussy and Milhaud, Stravinsky's "Dumbarton Oaks," and a new work written and arranged by Wu Man.
