About the workshop:Most of us know that marketing plans are an important component to an organization’s overall business and strategic plan. However, for many, the thought of having to write a marketing plan, let alone implement one, makes them want to run in the other direction. In this workshop, we’ll take the “scary” out of Marketing Plans and give you practical tips for drafting AND implementing an actionable plan. You’ll leave with a better understanding of the importance of working with your board and committees to ensure buy in and support, what key sections to include in a marketing plan, how to develop key messages and identify target audiences, common mistakes to avoid, and more. The workshop will also review a variety of public relations and marketing tactics and techniques and provide you with relevant suggestions for successful and timely implementation.
