Since launching her career as a comedian in Houston, Texas back in 2008, Kiana Dancie has been on the move as a thriving entertainer. Sharing the stage with Oscar-winning comedic actress Monique, Arnez J, Bruce Bruce, Sheryl Underwood and Kat Williams, she has made no plans of stopping as she climbs to the top.
On October 10th, at the Improv Houston, “The Pretty Funny Chick,” Kiana Dancie will come back to the city that gave her a platform and headline the Sol-Caritas comedic-production of Men-All-Pause. The redefined name of men•o•pause, which titled, Men-All-Pause is developed in collaboration with fledgling Houston-based enterprise “The Pink Book.” Taking place during the month of October, which is breast cancer awareness month, the event will features 5 of the funniest, most-talked about female comics, packing over 50 years of combined experience in an unprecedented and professionally produced display of comedic girl power!”
The incomparable, side-splitting talents of stand-up artists include headliner Kiana Dancie, Jennifer Jermany, Kristin Lindner, Stacy Anders, and Chaunte Wayans from the famed Wayans family! This lineup promises a rapid fire display of raw hilarity wrapped perfectly in a diverse package. With talent seen on BET, Comedy Central, VH1, The Monique Show, and Bloomberg TV, Men-All-Pause will break all the rules. The producers and performers are dismantling all the myths and misconceptions about female ensembles and re-building the image to reflect the value and relevance these collaborations represent. “It’s about stirring the senses and raising awareness about this misunderstood concept,” say’s producer of Men All Pause and founder of Sol-Caritas, Carlos Wallace. “The all-female line-up rouses interest.
