The inital course is an introduction for beginning to intermediate level contemoprary sewing enthusiasts. Basics covered include machine safety, operation:basic stitches how to read a pattern, and how to measure. Participants will learn how to put in waistbands and hems and gain additional fundamentals of sewing. Students will learn how to correctly assemble as easy to make garment. Participants should bring a portable sewing machine to class.
