Houston Fun Run and ConnectionSaturday December 1, 2012Registration  8 am.  The Event starts at 8 a.m, lunch is at 11:30 followed by fun and prizes.Plans are already underway to create a day of food, fun, and connection!   You, your family and friends are invited to run, walk, skate, pedal, or roll through the trees and trails of Bear Creek Park. In addition to the traditional T-Shirts and Watermelon Seed Spitting Championship (We hear that some people are already practicing) there is much more. And since it is in December  Ann Mc is saving her Watermelon seeds!You may register beginning at 8:00am a.m. for the Fun Run if you have not previously done so online and purchase food tickets and T-shirts.Fun Run Participants who raise $100 or more will receive a commemorative Fun Run T-shirt and their lunch free of charge.The Run 8:00– 11:30. You can participate any time from 8:00 until 11:30.5K is actually 3 times around the circular track where Pavilion 8 is located.  Dogs are welcome on a lead.Lunch 11:30- 12:30 (Plate lunch – $5.00 per plate per person, includes tea or bottled water)Games – to warm up, fun, and game prizes  Community time and funSponsorship Prize Drawings When participants raise $100 or more they will be eligible for the Sponsorship Prize Drawings. Any participant collecting sponsorships of $100 – $499.99 will have a ticket placed in the Level I Bowl. Any participant getting sponsorships of $500 – $999 will have their tickets placed in the Levels I and II bowls. Any participant getting $1,000 and above in sponsorships will get their tickets placed in all three levels.
