Signature Houston Cup medals for the top 4 finishers. Signature Houston Cup trophy for the best points standing fencer after 10 tournaments. Tournament to be held at Alliance Fencing Academy/Houston Close of registration: 8:00AM:Youth-12 Mixed Epee 9:00AM: Youth-8 Mixed Epee 10:00AM: Youth-10 Mixed Epee 11:00AM: Youth-14 Mixed Epee WAIVER REQUIRED: Please pre-print and bring waiver to event. Parent signature required. Link above (also available at the door).Parent signatures required on all forms for fencers under the age of 18. Tournament fee: Y8, Y10, Y12: $20.00 per event ($10.00 for Alliance members) Y14: $35.00 ($20.00 for Alliance members) Doors open at 7:30 AM. Tournament format: One round of pools. 100% promotion to the Direct Elimination (DE) round. DE for Youth-10 and Youth-12 events: best 2 of 3/5-touch bouts, Youth-14 event: 15-touch bouts. Y14 Mixed Epee will be a USFA sanctioned event. Ratings will be awarded according to the USFA classification chart. USFA membership is required. Full fencing uniform is required: mask, glove, knickers, socks that cover to the bottom of knickers, underarm protector, chest protector for girls/boys, cup recommended for boys. A MINIMUM of 2 working weapons and 2 working body cords required for each fencer. Additional fencing gear will be available at the club. Thank you for your participation.
