Learn how to create a cohesive body of work based on your personal interests and explore avenues for sharing. In this four-session workshop, the instructor guide students in establishing a theme, identifying shooting opportunities, and editing the results. You will also be assisted in creating a meaningful statement about your work, an artist bio, and incorporating those into an online portfolio. Issues of copyright, editioning, and pricing your work will all be considered in relation to your goals. You will be introduced to resources available to working artists and how to find opportunities to exhibit your work. In addition, group critiques will provide an opportunity for a constructive interchange and will foster the growth of new ideas and approaches to your photography. Students should bring examples of their work to the first class. This course is for teens, ages 14-18 years old. This class is a great step after Beginning and Intermediate Photography!
