RSVP for one of our premium tea tasting events here.  This is the more In Depth Organic Tea Class whereby we share more details about a particular type of tea.For the November class we will be taking an in depth look at Black teas. Americans drink more black tea than any other kind of tea. We will learn to cup tea like the professionals. We will be tasting teas from China (Lapsang Souchong and Earl Grey), Sri Lanka (formerly known as Ceylon - and what most commercial iced tea is made from), and India (Darjeeling First Flush and Tippy Assam). We will also taste one of the only black teas from Japan. Come and experience the taste and processing differences of these amazing teas. All in depth classes are taught be Thia McKann, Texas’ only certified Tea Master at The Path of Tea, located at 2340 West Alabama, Houston, TX 77098.  For more info please email info@thepathoftea.comAbout the In Depth Tea Classes: As an in depth overview of Organic Tea, this course is the beginning of a series on The Path to become a Certified Tea Connoisseur. In this more detailed course you will learn how to "cup tea" like a professional, be introduced to professional vocabulary to describe the quality of the tea,  in depth study of the different types of tea processing, as well as the characteristics of tea as you sample different teas from different countries. We will also go deeper into the study of the health benefits.Once you RSVP on our RSVP software, used for attendance tracking only and not payment, please bring the RSVP confirmation and your online voucher (if paid online) with you to the tea class. If you haven't already paid for your class, you may pay at the tea shop the evening of the class.  We need you to RSVP for your time slot because there is limited seating for each event.  All attendees need to be accounted for and the event is based on space available.  These in depth classes are held once a month on the 4th Wednesday so if you are looking for the General Intro to Tea Tasting events whereby we do a high level overview of 6 different types of tea, then you will want to locate the RSVP for these events called Intro to Tea Tasting.  Merchant cancellation/re-scheduling policy of 24 hours applies; or prepayment is subject to forfeiture. Visit EventBrite.com for pricing.
