Owl Prowls begin with a lively program on owls including a rare opportunity to meet live, rehabilitated owls at the Edith Moore Sanctuary log cabin. Then we take recordings of screech owl calls out onto the Sanctuarys wooded trails in hopes of attracting the attention of resident screech owls who are busy setting up their territories in preparation for nesting in early March. Fee: $10.00 adults; $6.00 children (ages 6-17), payable in advance. Refunds only given for adverse weather cancellations if unable to be rescheduled. Maximum group size: 5 persons. All prowlers must be at least 6 years old. (1 adult chaperone for every 2 children) Dress for walking in the woods. Adults may bring a flashlight. Please do not leave any valuables in your vehicle.
