And Fluffy will be purrfectly happy to do the same when Santa hosts Pet Nights for cats and dogs on Mondays, November 19 and 26, December 3, 10 and 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. Find Santa in his Jolly & Bright Spot located near jcpenney. Cats and dogs on a leash or in an appropriate carrier only, please. Animals, other than those servicing the disabled, are not allowed in the shopping centers except on Pet Nights. Pet owners are asked to use the entrance between Macy’s and Pottery Barn, located on The Courtyard side of the shopping center. First Colony Mall has more holiday activities, too, including: Jolly & Bright Light Show - every evening during the holidays. First Colony Mall is lighting the season with its exclusive Jolly & Bright Light Show beginning Saturday, November 10. The Jolly & Bright Light Show, designed by internationally known Parker 3D, features a dazzling light and sound program unlike anything in greater Houston. Jolly & Bright spans 465 feet and will light up Center Court from Gap to Bath & Body Works, with more than 100,000 energy efficient LED lights. The light show is controlled by more than 25-networked computers and backed up by 2,000 watts of rock concert sound. The energy efficient show requires more than 11 miles of copper wire and runs on less than half the power used in a typical home. Shows take place nightly, beginning at 6 p.m. and will be every hour on the hour until the mall closes. Visit www.firstcolonymall.com for details. Saturday, December 1 – Breakfast with Santa. The Cheesecake Factory at First Colony Mall is inviting kids to come for breakfast on Saturday, December 1. The party is from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and children will enjoy a delicious breakfast served by The Cheesecake Factory. Santa will pop in to read a story, plus Bearemy from Build-A-Bear Workshop will stop in for a visit. Adults are reminded to bring cameras. The Santa Breakfast benefits Toys for Tots-Fort Bend and guests are asked to bring a new unwrapped toy to donate to the organization. For information about tickets, check www.firstcolonymall.com . Saturday, December 8 – The Elf Academy. Lessons in how to be an elf are taught by Santa’s helpers and students will become a ‘certified elf’ by the end of class. The Elf Academy, compliments of First Colony Mall, is from 2 to 4 p.m. in Dillard’s court. Saturday, December 15 –Jingle Bell Choir. Santa’s elves will be teaching children and adults how to play holiday hand bells. The classes, compliments of First Colony Mall, will be from 2 to 6 p.m. in Dillard’s court. Bells and other equipment provided. Toys for Tots collection boxes. Two collection boxes will be in place at First Colony Mall for shoppers who want to donate a toy to the organization. One is near Forever 21 and the second is near Santa in the jcpenney court. The Toys for Tots boxes will be at the center from Friday, November 9 through Monday, December 24.
