Enjoy a one-hour guided walk led by one of the Park Naturalists. The 3/4-mile walk will include the Pond Loop Trail and John Jacob Observation Tower (or other sites determined by visitors). The Pond Loop will allow visitors to see the wintering ponds that host seasonal migrant birds and the tower will allow them to see the lake, developing prairie, and other park projects. Pets are allowed on a leash. Wear sturdy shoes, bring water and dress for the weather. Held at Sheldon Lake State Park & Environmental Learning Center, 15315 Beaumont Highway, Houston, TX 77049.
