On Sunday, December 16 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) gather at Deerbrook Mall to rev their motorcycles for a good cause and raise funds for foster children in Northwest Houston. The public is invited to stop by and tour the bikes that are decorated for the occasion. Beginning at 10:30 a.m., GWRRA members will meet in the Deerbrook Mall parking lot near Macy’s for its 22nd annual Toy Run. All the motorcycles will be elaborately decorated for the occasion and holiday shoppers and visitors can wander around, enjoying the festivities and visiting with the bikers. At noon, the judging of the motorcycles begins and the winner will be announced. At 12:45 p.m., GWRRA members will ride through the parking lot, offering shoppers a glimpse at a holiday parade unlike any other. The parade ends at the Sheraton Hotel at Bush Intercontinental Airport. The Toy Run benefits foster children of Northwest Houston.
