Now in its 35th year, Houston's longest running New Year's Eve party, spanning four floors and featuring two live bands, a D.J., party favors, and the famous 50,000-balloon cascade at midnight, takes place downtown at Hyatt Regency Houston. Each general admission ticket includes four drink tickets; party favors; rabble-rousing Texas Country from Roger Creager; hot hits from the 60's by The Fab 5; and DJ 33-1/3 spinning party hits in the lobby. The countdown to midnight will once again culminate with Hyatt's famous, 50,000-balloon cascade from the top of hotel's 33-floor atrium lobby. The hotel's Celebration Package starts at $299 per couple and includes overnight accommodations, eight (8) beverage tickets, party favors and full access to the party with live entertainment and balloon cascade at midnight. New Year's Eve guests can also enjoy the extravagant Regency Buffet featuring a Prime Rib of Beef Carving station, Citrus Mahi Mahi, Grilled Chicken, an antipasto display, soup and fresh salads, a mélange of fresh vegetables and a dessert station filled with assorted pastries, tortes, cakes and pies.
