Children’s Museum of Houston snaps into action celebrating LEGO® love  January 10 – 16  What:Whether you strictly follow the instruction book or throw it away and build your own magnum opus, LEGOs® have always helped let go of creative inhibitions and brought out the inventive side in people.  Celebrate Denmark’s contribution to recreational education with multiple LEGO® themed activities going on at the Children’s Museum of Houston.  We heart LEGO®! On-going Activities:LEGO® Mindstorms Robotics:  Build a fully programmable robot at the Inventors’ Workshop.LEGO® Mosaics:  Create a masterpiece of patterns and pictures at Junktion.LEGO® Free Build:  Build whatever comes to mind using LEGO® DUPLOs® at Junktion.Story Starters:  Learn story telling  elements using LEGO® DUPLOs® at Junktion.LEGO® Sort:  Understand sets and practice grouping at the ExxonMobil Math Cart.LEGO® Symmetry Challenge:  Finish the other half of a design at the ExxonMobil Math Cart. ***Activities, events and times subject to change.  MUSEUM HOURS: Tue. – Sat.: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Sun: Noon – 6 p.m. Second Saturday of every month opens at 9 a.m. for members. General Museum admission: $9 per person and $8 for seniors 65+ and for military personnel.
