Instructor:  Jimmy Loyd   January 24 & 31, February 7, 4:30 - 6:30pm $145 HCP members / $175 non members Level: Intermediate Class Size 10 Students    Lighting in Photography is an interactive course which introduces students to various lighting techniques using both studio strobes and natural light. Students learn to work with a handheld light meter to measure and control natural and studio lighting. This class includes an introduction to lighting styles and techniques from the highly stylized studio strobe to the Chiaroscuro effect of window light and everything in between.   What students need to bring: Three examples of lighting the student likes Digital SLR fully manual Sync cord adapter Memory card Flash Extra batteries or charger Portable storage device Pre-requisites: Photography I: Learning the Basics Photography II: Beyond the Basics From Good to Great: Composition Basics Suggested classes to continue education: Presenting Your Work Natural Light Portraiture Photographing Families Suggested Reading: Lighting for Photography: Techniques for Studio and Location Shoots by Glenn Rand
