Once upon a time, Adobe Camera Raw was an esoteric program for a limited club of photographers who shot RAW. That all changed with the Lightroom revolution of 2006. Processing once reserved for RAW files has been extended to all common photographic files and the processor now performs functions once reserved to Photoshop and performs those functions more easily, quickly, and repeatably over batches of images. Whether you enter Camera Raw through Bridge, use the Develop module of Lightroom, or access Camera Raw processing through Photoshop Elements, come discover what your camera has been hiding from you-- full dynamic range and contrast, highlight and shadow detail, accurate color and white balance, and much more. This course has no prerequisites, so come and dig in.
What students need to bring:
10-12 images on a flash drive or CD
Suggested classes to continue education:
Photoshop I: Getting Started
Lightroom: Organizing and Developin Your Work
Photoshop II: Working with Layers
Photoshop III: Retouching
You're Almost Done!
