The CB & I TRI - The Woodlands Triathlon is set to take place Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Northshore Park. As one of the premier multi-sport events in the region, CB & I TRI, produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department offers high-caliber competition, first-rate race management and a scenic course. The 2013 race will be a sanctioned USA Triathlon (USAT) event and will feature a field of more than 1,100 participants. Last year's participants ranged from beginners to nationally ranked triathletes. This event has reached capacity and sold out registration in the past eight years, with the 2012 event selling out in just 2 months. Race Details Distance: 500 meter open-water swim in Lake Woodlands15 mile bike5K runStart Time: First wave starts at 6:45am Categories: Participants can compete Individually in their age group or weight class (Athena and Clydesdale), or as part of a 2 or 3 person relay.
