CONTEXT, Houston's premier chamber music ensemble, presents two major works by French master Gabriel Faure. The rarely heard Second Piano Quartet is startling in its invention and drama and ravishing in its melodic and harmonic beauty. The gorgeous song-cycle " La Bonne Chanson" is performed in Faure's lush version for voice with chamber ensemble. Led by violinsist Stephanie Chase, the program features the CONTEXT debuts of violinist Aloysia Friedmann and the great American baritone William Sharp. Single ticket: $28.00
