Instructor: Dion McInnis 7:00 - 9:00pm January 10, 17, 31, February 7 $145 HCP members / $175 non members Level: Introductory Class Size: 10 Students   The rules of composition are simple to use but can make a great impact on the success of your photos. This introductory composition course will improve the quality of your images, guaranteed. We’ll introduce to you such terminology and techniques as the rule of thirds, leading lines, orientation, and image framing. We’ll review different photographic styles such as portrait, landscape, documentary and conceptual photography and assess their compositional elements. Group discussion and friendly critique of class assignments will give you the direction you need to refine your compositional skills and maximize the visual impact of your photography.
