The National Healthy Worksite Program will be conducting a Worksite Health 101 training session on January 15, 2013 from 9am - 11:30am. Phase 1 is "Making the Case" and will cover the relationship between employee health and individual and organizational performance, the positive impacts of a comprehensive worksite health program, and the key components of a comprehensive worksite health program. Phase 2 is "Engaging Leadership" and will cover the importance of senior leadership support and worksite health infrastructure, how to create leadership support for worksite health, how to create a healthy worksite culture, and how to build a strong infrastructure for worksite health.Phase 3 is “Data” and will cover the worksite health assessment process, reasons to collect data, types of data used in worksite health promotion planning, and understanding the uses for specific assessment data collection instruments.This is a repeat of classes conducted in 2012. We are providing the training as a refresher for anyone that attended previously or for new/additional employees that are in need of the information.
