"Remember the Ladies" Following up on the success of the summer lecture series "New York, New York, Bayou Bend presents a series of talks on women’s history in the United States. Topics include a survey of the women in Bayou Bend’s portrait collection; a colonial-era history of cosmetics and self-adornment, a closer look at a rare 18th-century sampler and the artist; and a study of Ima Hogg as an art collector.Admission All lectures take place at Bayou Bend's Lora Jean Kilroy Visitor and Education Center.
