Bellfort Houston TX 77035 Points will be cumulative over several Weekend Warrior Tournaments. The 1st and 2nd place finishers in each weapon will receive a gift certificate equal to the number of accumulated points at the end of the Weekend Warrior Series. Two awards will be given for foil (Mixed and D & Under) and two awards will be given for epee (Mixed and D & Under) No other awards will be given in Weekend Warrior Series. Weekend Warrior 1 Points 1st - 32 2nd - 16 3rd - 8 4th - 4 5th - 2 Events Scheduled: Closing times will be posted 2 weeks prior to the close of registration Saturday February 23, 2013 Mixed Epee Mixed Foil D & Under Mixed Foil D & Under Mixed Epee Registration opens one hour prior to the posted close time. Fees Registration: $20 Event: $10 The organizers reserve the right to cancel events with fewer than eight pre registrants 48 hours in advance. If any such event is canceled, askFRED will be updated to describe the cancellation. FORMAT INFORMATION One round of 5-touch/3 minute bout pools. 100% advance to 15-touch direct elimination rounds. EQUIPMENT All weapons will be scored electrically. Equipment (masks, lames, and electric cords) will be inspected and marked. Foil bibs will be required for all foil events. USFA Membership Current competitive membership of the USFA required. Membership forms will be available at the venue. If your membership is not pre-validated, you must be prepared to show proof of USFA membership, or at the door, fill out a membership form and pay $65 - check or credit card. Persons under age 18 MUST have a parent's signature on the USFA form. Waiver of Liability ***All participants must sign a Waiver of Liability form which can be found on the Gulf Coast Division Website. Fencers under age 18 must have a parent's signature on this form.
