Available from February 11 through February 16, Latin Bites will be featuring a special Valentine’s three course prix-fixe menu. Start off with either a Causa de Cangrejo, a purple potato causita served with crab salad and avocado sauce; or a Humita de Puerco, Quinoa y Choclo, a Peruvian-style tamale made of quinoa and Peruvian corn, served with pork belly over a Panca pepper and honey demiglaze. Enjoy an Escabeche de Paiche Amazonico con Tacu Tacu de Pallares, an Amazonian Paiche in a Panca pepper escabeche served with lima beans, tacu tacu and stir-fry baby vegetables; or an Estofado de Ternera con Polenta en Salsa de Aji de Gallina, a veal stew served with polenta in a savory aji Amarillo and peanut sauce. For dessert, choose from the Mil Hojas de Chocolate con Sauco y Maracuya, a chocolate mille-feuille with an elderberry and passion fruit sauce; or the Alfajores de Canela y Lucuma, South American sandwich cookies made of cinnamon and filled with a Lucuma mousse.
