Engineering offers the world imaginative and innovative solutions to any task at hand, and the Children’s Museum of Houston’s National Engineers Week celebrates those independent minds and ideas.  Join us as we prepare the next generation of thinkers through creative activities that will put any aspiring engineer to the test.  The official National Engineers Week is Feb. 17 – 23, 2013.  Don’t forget to check out the Invention Convention exhibit! Special Events Geodesic Dome:  Work alongside engineers to create a huge dome you can crawl into.  Explore concepts in design, building, and construction.Event Time:  All day, Saturday, Feb. 16 in the Brown Auditorium. Circuits:  Explore batteries, bulbs, and wires as real-life engineers explain concepts in electronics and how it’s important to our daily lives. Event Time:  All day, Saturday, Feb. 16 in the Alcove.American Society of Civil Engineers:   Come rub elbows with real life engineers and participate in hands-on, interactive activities.
