ABSTRACT: This presentation will focus on the use of single layer graphene as an electrochemical platform. We begin with an introduction to the synthesis and characterization of single layer graphene and its assembly into electrochemical devices. These have been employed to study: Heterogeneous charge transfer kinetics, Adsorption thermodynamics and kinetics, Surface diffusion through the use of an SECM, Selective passivation of surface defects, Electrocatalysis of NADH Oxidation, Electrochemiluminescene. The presentation will conclude with further directions.
