FROST WELCOMES THE HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW AND RODEO TO TOWN WITH CHUCKWAGON FEASTS
Frost, a Texas banking tradition, welcomes the public to celebrate one of Houston’s favorite annual traditions – the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo with old-fashioned cowboy style feasts at participating area financial centers. Guests can enjoy complimentary eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, peach cobbler, coffee, and juice for breakfast as well as chopped brisket sandwiches for lunch when the wagon pulls into town.
In 1932 Houston held its first livestock show and rodeo, the tradition was born making an impressive footprint on the livestock and entertainment industries and in the sport of rodeo. Frost’s Texas roots also run deep – back to 1868, in fact. While the Texas landscape has certainly changed since those early days, Frost’s culture and commitment to the communities it serves has remained the same. Frost’s way of doing business is and always will be based on a personal approach and old-fashioned values.
Frost’s Founder, the late T.C. Frost once said, “Institutions, like people, are largely products of their heritage”. Frost welcomes the public to celebrate this rich Texas heritage, while ringing in another rodeo season.
