At the "Balancing Social Media at Work and at Home" lunch, we will discuss how to handle your child's use of social media and technology, which begins as early as age 7, to learn rules you should set, pitfalls for the unwary, the current social media trends among kids. We will also learn how to maximize and link our own use of Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, and blogs, as well as other quick Social Media tips of the trade to promote your career and business. It's a rapidly changing world, and we busy moms can't be left behind to let our children nor our careers flounder. Kim Garcia, University of Phoenix - Communications Chair, will educate us on variety of ways to use Social Media for business, and Shannon Rusnak, a forensic accountant and mother of 13 year old female twins, will enlighten us from hands on experience how to monitor your children's use of Social Media. Bring your friends, spread the word, and forward this invitation! The attendee who brings the most women with her will be spotlighted as our member feature for 30 days on our website, www.executivemomssociety.org.Parking will be covered by Univeristy of Phoenix for this event. Lunch and beverages will be provided.
