Meditation is now considered a mainstream health practice offering benefits for all age groups. Recent medical research has linked meditation to improved attention and memory, reduced stress and inflammation, lower blood pressure, pain management, improved self-control, reduced anxiety and insomnia, and many other benefits. This course will briefly review some of this research and introduce all the elements necessary to begin meditation practice at home. Please wear comfortable clothing.
