A cache of bronze and silver objects from the 17th to 20th centuries has been rediscovered and restored. These works of art are now on display in America for the first time at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston in Lost Treasure of the Jewish Ghetto of Venice.
The Venetian Jewish art had been hidden away from the Nazis during World War II and was forgotten about until it was accidently discovered 60 years later. The collection will feature masterfully crafted silver and bronze pieces alongside Venetian paintings from the 1600s to early 1900s.
