The Looking at Art (LAA) teacher workshop is based on the award-winning curriculum Learning Through Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (LTA/MFAH). This workshop introduces LTA/MFAH concepts, ideas, and applications. It is ideal for the art and non-art teacher new to the MFAH or teaching with works of art. Teachers of K-12 and all disciplines are welcome. Get an in-depth experience in the Kinder Foundation Education Center and learn new methods to incorporate art in the classroom.Registration fee includes admission to the museum, discounts on all MFAH published teaching resources, and a certificate of participation for 3 hours of SBEC approved professional development.
