The MLK Grande Parade is One Of The Largest Single Day Multicultural Events In The U.S. In Honor Of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.. It's Purpose Is To Promote Racial/Cultural Harmony Through Events And Activities That Are Produced Annually In Recognition Of The MLK National Holiday Observance. The 2014 MLK Grande Parade Theme Is " Achieving Equality Through Education. The Parade Will Originate In Houston's Midtown On San Jacinto Street @ Elgin Street Beginning Promptly @ 10:00 AM.
