Join Catherine Basu, MEd, Saturday, March 30th, 2013 for a FREE Mat Pilates class! Pilates is a form of exercise that uses slow and controlled movements to increase strength and flexibility. The class will focus on beginner moves that will help strengthen your core (abdominal and back muscles), sculpt leg muscles, and increase flexibility. The class will conclude with some gentle stretching and a brief meditation period. Bring your own fitness mat or towel to check out this popular class format for yourself.
Refreshments will be provided.
Catherine Basu is an ACE-Certified Fitness Professional with her Master’s Degree in Education. She has taught fitness classes and trained clients throughout New England and is excited to start working with clients in Houston. In addition to personal training and private fitness classes, Catherine also offers Corporate Fitness solutions. Armed with her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from The College of William and Mary, Catherine is able to help clients navigate the world of fitness without getting caught up in invalid claims. Catherine’s experience in education has helped her create targeted “Fitness 101”and related offerings for corporations interested in educating their employees on healthy living. Although Catherine’s favorite form of exercise is running, she believes there is a workout program for every client. Her passion is helping beginning exercisers have fun while discovering the benefits of fitness for themselves.
