On Sunday, March 10 from 12 to 4 p.m., First Colony Mall hosts the pet adoption booth for the Houston Humane Society. The nonprofit organization is dedicated to helping individuals find the perfect pet companion and will have six to eight dogs in a variety of sizes and breeds at the shopping center. Volunteers will be available to answer questions and introduce the animals to potential pet owners.
All dogs are neutered or spayed, current on all vaccinations, including Rabies, and are micro chipped. Each dog will have a Rabies tag and certificate. Individuals interested in adopting a homeless pet animal must meet the requirements of the organization.
Dogs that are 25 pounds or under; or six months of age or younger - $125 per dog
Dogs that are 26 pounds or more; and older than six months - $95 per dog
The Houston Humane Society adoption booth will be near Apple and Pottery Barn.
