For those looking to expand their Easter celebrations this year, Hotel Derek is hosting a special breakfast the weekend before Easter to give families even more time to celebrate. On Saturday, March 23, from 9-11 am, the hotel will host Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, an opportunity for pictures with the Easter bunny as well as egg painting, face painting, a balloon artist and a delicious breakfast buffet. A portion of the proceeds from Hotel Derek’s Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be donated to the Houston SPCA. Guests of the hotel’s Easter festivities can choose from a selection of culinary creations including apple wood smoked bacon, carved honey ham, southern fried breakfast potatoes, buttermilk biscuits, scrambled eggs, assorted breakfast breads, pastries and seasonal fruit and berries. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny is $22 for adults, $12 for children up to 12 years old and children under two are free.
