Zoo Ball 2013: “Caddyshack Gone Wild!” Honoring Bobbie Nau and John Nau
Grab your clubs and caddy, rev up your golf cart and join us at the Houston Zoo for the 2013 Zoo Ball. Caddyshack Gone Wild is not just our theme, it is a night you will never forget! Help Zoo Friends of Houston celebrate our 44th year for a night filled with putting greens, country club fare and amazing entertainment that will knock your argyle socks off as we transform the Zoo on April 19, 2013. Proceeds from the 2013 Zoo Ball, Caddyshack Gone Wild, will help support the education and conservation programs of the Houston Zoo. Each year, over 90,000 school children go on a worldwide learning safari at the Houston Zoo without ever leaving the city. The ability to see over 6,000 animal residents in natural habitats encourages our children to have an appreciation of the world’s diverse ecosystems and many wild inhabitants. This year, Zoo Friends of Houston is especially thrilled to recognize Bobbie Nau and John Nau as Honorary Chairs for the 2013 Zoo Ball. The Naus have demonstrated extraordinary leadership in support of the Zoo’s annual operating and capital campaign goals and continue to be a guiding force in the Zoo’s conservation efforts.
