The evening is dedicated to Allen Greenberg, regional director of the Office of Foreign Missions (U.S. Department of State) and former Deputy Principal Officer in the U.S. Consulate General in Saint-Petersburg, and his wife Haruko Greenberg, who spent 3 years in St. Petersburg and fell in love with its beauty.
During these years they explored a beauty of Russian culture and collected precious art books. When the Greenberg family returned to Houston, they wanted to share their treasures with others. This is why they decided to donate the books to the Russian Cultural Center. All these books are on display at the Center.

- Stravinsky: Russian Dance from ballet “Petrushka”
played by Sergey Kuznetsov, Doctor of Musical Arts, Professor of Piano at Lone Star College Montgomery.
Mr. Kuznetsov won many prestigious international competitions. He have performed numerous concerts around the world and organized chamber music ensembles in France, Israel, China, Russia and Canada. The highlights of his teaching career include collaboration with Van Cliburn Foundation as a part of their outreach programs.
