The Southern Regional Council on Statistics (SRCoS) is proud to announce the 49th Summer Research Conference to be held at Montgomery Bell State Park, Tennessee, a half-hour west of Nashville. The meeting will be hosted by the University of Louisville Department of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics.
You don’t have to be from the south to come! This year’s program features plenary talks by Grace Wahba(Wisconsin) and Brad Carlin (Minnesota). Kathy Ensor (Rice) will deliver a banquet speech in celebration of the IYS. New for this year is the ASA / Mike Kutner Faculty Poster Session - funding is available to support participants who have limited travel funds from their home department. NISS partner programs may use their allowances to offset travel costs. Financial support is also available for graduate students participating in theNSF / RL Anderson Student Poster Session. The deadline for application for both poster sessions is May 1.
Afternoons are free during the meeting at this pristine, affordable park for activities like hiking, boating, tennis and golf. Bring the family!
