Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH) presents a Wild Men Silkscreen Workshop with Carlos Hernandez and a Special Guest.Print master and Design Now—Houston speaker Carlos Hernandez and a special guest will be giving a democratic silk screening workshop. Participants will learn the basics of the silk screening process and get the chance to collectively make screenprints based on the frenzied imagery in Hernandez’s work.Seating is limited to 15 participants. Most recently, he was selected as the official poster artist to design a commemorative poster for the 2013 Austin City Limits Music Festival.His work has been featured in the 2011 Communication Arts Typography annual, the 2011 & 2012 Communication Arts Illustration annual and was also recently published in the 2012 book Mexican Graphics by Korero Books-UK. Carlos is a founding partner of Burning Bones Press, a Houston printmaking studio located in the Heights. Corporate work has included Live Nation, Goode Company, Underbelly, the Houston Chronicle, Hohner USA, Saint Arnold Brewing Company and many more.
