The City of League City through Gulf Coast Public Affairs - Major Events presents the 2nd Annual Boogie, Blues & Brews Festival. The three-day event is scheduled from September 20- 22, 2013 at Walter Hall Park located at 807 Highway 3 N, League City, TX 77573. This year, New Orleans rock band Cowboy Mouth headlines the festival.Residents and visitors will enjoy three fun-filled days of blues, country, zydeco, and rockabilly. The Kid’s Zone will feature rides and a multitude of children activities to keep the excitement meter on high. Sunday we host a tailgating party second to none! The Texans play the Baltimore Ravens in an away game. Come party with us as we cheer them on to victory.The festival grounds will also include a variety of arts and crafts with shopping and promotional opportunities, fun festival foods in the food court, with specialty food kiosks throughout the park.The three-day celebration will showcase local, regional, and national music acts, along with three signature events to kick off the off the 2nd annual event. A hotly contested Chili-Cook Off with taster kits available will be open to the public on Saturday afternoon. Sunday will feature a sweet tea competition. Local residents, social groups, and restaurants will compete for bragging rights in the 2nd annual Sweet Tea Competition.
