This program will teach the skills and techniques of self-defense by teaching basic stances, punches, strikes, blocks, kicks, blocking/counter techniques, kicking combinations and forms. The class will involve light sparring (no contact) and a coll down session with stretching, sit-ups and push-ups. Every three months, students will be tested to earn a new belt. At each belt level, students will learn new techniques from basic to advanced, progressing up from white to black belt status. Instructor; Travis Everitt, seventh degree balck belt, former three-time Mexican National Champion, and United States Kata Champion.
