It took a whopping six years, but David Spade finally sold his Malibu mansion.
The comedian purchased the beach front property back in 2005 for $9.3 million, with just two years later deciding he wanted to sell the pad, and put it on the market for an astounding $16.0 million! Not surprisingly, Spade’s listing got no bites so he took it off the market until around December 20111 asking $13.5 million. Still nothing.
But finally DS decided to bite the bullet, closing a deal for just $10.225 million to a Netflix executive.
According to Trulia, the just-sold home sits on a pristine stretch of La Costs Beach and has rare patio privacy and a beautiful pool on the backside of the property. The home has high ceilings, gorgeous wood floors and numerous doors opening to the incredible sandy coastline.
