The CEO of Chinga Chang Records has finally given up on Amanda Bynes — at least for now.
Dan Herman used the $250,000 advance he promised the troubled star for a record deal with rapper Cassidy.
And, of course, the eccentric record producer found Cassidy through unorthodox means. Instead of going through managers or agents — Dan simply called up Cassidy’s wife and said he wanted to sign the hip hop artist to a deal.
Cassidy tells RumorFix exclusively, “I mean it’s incredible that I’m finally back linking up with a major [record label], but this time around I got total control. Me and D [Dan] have the same mentality on this game.”
Then the rapper takes some swipes at much more famous rappers: “We recognize that people like Meek Mills, Drake and all those other clowns on the radio are feminizing the game. Skinny jeans? C’mon!”
Cassidy is calling his album, Mr Hip Hop, “because we gotta obligations to give a classic album to my fans.”
