THE MISSION OF THE HOUSTON SPCA IS TO PROMOTE COMMITMENT TO AND RESPECT FOR ALL ANIMALS AND TO FREE THEM FROM SUFFERING, ABUSE, AND EXPLOITATION.
FOR MORE THAN 88 YEARS, THE HOUSTON SPCA HAS BEEN AN OPEN DOOR, A SAFE HAVEN AND DEFENDER FOR ALL ANIMALS.
HERE ARE A FEW OF THE ANIMALS WE HAVE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION:
Buttercup is a handsome Domestic Shorthair mix who is two and a half years old. He is a mellow kitty who enjoys playtime on his terms, and would probably prefer a home with older kids. He did live with dogs and might do ok with proper introductions. Buttercup’s family no longer had time to care for him, so he just needs a family who will show him the attention he deserves. Raven is a two-year-old Labrador Retriever whose family was no longer allowed to keep her in the home. She can be a bit shy with strangers but she’s a loving dog who has lived with kids and other dogs and did great. Raven is house and crate trained, and she’s a very well-behaved young dog. To learn how you can make her part of your family go to Houston SPCA.
