THE MISSION OF THE HOUSTON SPCA IS TO PROMOTE COMMITMENT TO AND RESPECT FOR ALL ANIMALS AND TO FREE THEM FROM SUFFERING, ABUSE, AND EXPLOITATION.
FOR MORE THAN 88 YEARS, THE HOUSTON SPCA HAS BEEN AN OPEN DOOR, A SAFE HAVEN AND DEFENDER FOR ALL ANIMALS.
HERE ARE A FEW OF THE ANIMALS WE HAVE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION:
Peace is a six-month-old Domestic Shorthair mix who came to the Houston SPCA because her owner developed allergies. She is loving and sweet, and she occasionally spent time around children and was playful and gentle with them. She loves toys but she will also happily cuddle up with you at the end of a long day. Chester is a four-year-old Labrador mix who was rescued by Houston SPCA cruelty investigators from a hoarding situation in May. He spent time in a loving foster home where he learned to enjoy long, relaxing walks. He may take some extra time to settle into his new surroundings, but this gentle dog will make it worth the wait.
