News we were hoping we wouldn't have to deliver. The red light cameras have been given the green light
Last month a judge ruled the referendum on the cameras was invalid giving Houston until August 1st to turn the cameras back on or pay $20-million in damages.
With the City's extreme budget cuts it looks like we can't afford the latter.
Mayor Annise Parker has filed an appeal against the ruling that the proposition was invalid.
In the meantime you may want to start stopping at those red lights.
