Plaxico Burress owes $59,000 In New York back taxes
Current free agent Plaxico Burress didn't pay all of his personal income tax for the year 2007 and now the state of New York is ready to collect. TMZ has reported that Burress has a tax lien filed against him in the big apple for more than $59,000. Burress was the top receiver for the NY Giants and under a 6-year $25-million contract but a jail sentence stemming from a gun charge put an end to his career. Burress had a base salary of $3.295 million in 2007.
