CLEARWATER, Fla. —

A Florida man's video of a Clearwater police officer stopping traffic as a mother duck and her ducklings cross a busy street is warming hearts on social media.

According to WTSP, Glenn Peterson of Clearwater captured the video Monday afternoon and shared it on his Facebook page.

"Clearwater's Finest stopping traffic on Gulf To Bay so Mama Duck can cross with her Babies," he wrote.

WATCH: Woman rescues ducklings from storm drain in heartwarming viral video

A Tennessee woman has gone viral for all the right reasons.

Shara Fenell told WHBQ that she was walking in downtown Memphis on Memorial Day near the Peabody Hotel when she heard a noise. She said she wasn't sure what the noise was at first or where it was coming from, until she looked in a storm drain.

When Fenell looked down, she saw about eight ducklings. She and her friend noticed the mother duck walking around the drain trying to do something.

What Fenell decided to do next made her go viral.

She jumped into the drain and saved the ducklings. She lifted them one by one to a good Samaritan.

Fenell told WHBQ that she made sure the ducklings and their mother crossed the street safely.

Ducklings fall into sewer, officer climbs in after them

A Pennsylvania police officer climbed down into a storm sewer to save ducklings that had fallen through the grate Wednesday.

Officer Johnston used a net to scoop the ducklings up and reunited them with their mother, the Upper St. Clair Police Department posted on Facebook.

“Well ... we do just about anything,” the post said. “Please call us for assistance, even if you think it's something the police won't do. We always try our best to serve the public ... and nature.”
