Along with sharing a new photo of the smiling, growing girls, Scantling offered “Today” an update. She said Franklin is happy and active, despite having permanently lost her hair and suffering an eye droop as side effects of the chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Peters finished chemotherapy in October and recent scans and counts looked good. Hughey is over two years cancer-free and is enjoying several activities.
