Jaroslav Bobrowski, a German triathlete, reportedly ate 100 dishes of sushi at the Running Sushi restaurant in Landshut, Germany, taking advantage of a $26 buffet deal, Newsweek reported.

That apparently struck a raw nerve with the restaurant owner, who banned the 30-year-old Ironman competitor.

"When I went to the checkout, I wanted to tip, but the waiter did not want to accept that. I'm banned from now on because I'm eating too much. I was stunned," Bobrowski told Newsweek.

“He eats for five people,” restaurant owner Tan Le told Bild. “That is not normal. I myself am dead after 13 plates, but he always took five or seven plates at a time, so there was a gap on the sushi carousel and the other guests asked if we had skimped on the fish.”

According to fatsecret.com, a piece of sushi contains between 40 to 50 calories. That means Bobrowski could have eaten 4,000 calories in his one sitting.

Bobrowski is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 174 pounds. He has less than 10 percent body fat, Newsweek reported. He has been dubbed “sushi man” and his eating exploits have gone viral.

The athlete returned to the restaurant to apologize for actions that seemed straight out of a routine by John Pinette, the late comedian.

Bobrowski is now taking his business to China City, another buffet restaurant. He said he would change his eating habits slightly, Newsweek reported.

"At the beginning, the owner has asked me to drink more. I totally understand,” Bobrowski told Bild.
